An award-winning documentary about the catastrophic 2010 Haitian earthquake, Fault of Freedom tells the story of Patrick and Barb — a missionary couple whose love and faith are deeply intertwined with one another and with Haiti itself.

As Patrick and Barb tell their story in pieces, Haiti’s overarching history is laid out as their foundation. When the devastating earthquake strikes, their world collapses around them. Trapped beneath the rubble, they recount their desperate fight for survival, exposing the fragility of life and the unyielding strength of the Haitian people.

 

A co-production of Agape Media Group and Crown Shine Studios, the film captures the truth about the power of love and the meaning of freedom. Through intimate interviews, archival footage, and stunning cinematography, Fault of Freedom invites viewers on a deeply personal journey that examines the strength and capacity of the human spirit.
